Board Pipeline Initiative

Sponsored by Milwaukee County and Potawatomi Casino Hotel.

HPGM’s Board Pipeline Initiative is a virtual training program that introduces HPGM members and guests to the foundational concepts of board service. Session topics include board basics, understanding financial statements, exploring various types of boards/committees, strategic planning, and more. Participants will learn more about fundraising, partnerships, and best practices for being an effective board member. Our goal is to increase representation for Latinos on non-profit committees and boards, with the broader goal of increasing representation for Latinos on both volunteer and paid corporate boards.

The in-person graduation event is designed to celebrate participants’ completion of the program and match graduates with non-profit partners for future board and committee opportunities. This event is most beneficial for organizations actively seeking to fill board and committee members.

Current HPGM non-profit members will receive matching priority and additional organizations will be added if space is available. This is a great opportunity to share information about your organization, mission and recruit future board and committee members.

Register to host a table HERE. Program cost: Complimentary for HPGM members, $300 for non-members. Not an HPGM member? Learn more about membership HERE and join today for complimentary registration to BPI and other HPGM programs.
