About Ana

Ana Diaz graduated from Marquette University with a Bachelors in History, and a minor in Spanish for the Professions, in May 2019.

Diaz attended Marquette University on a full scholarship through the Burke Scholars Program, which required 300 hours of volunteer service yearly, within the Milwaukee community. Being raised in Milwaukee, she had a general understanding of social issues within the city, but as a Burke Scholar and History major, learned the true gravity of these injustices. These experiences fueled her resolve to bring resources and justice to underserved and underrepresented communities. Carrying out this work for the Latinx community is one of Diaz's greatest passions.

As the Student Program Manager, Diaz works closely with HPGM's student chapters, coordinating events and programs to bring resources and opportunities to students. Through this position, Diaz aims to serve the Latinx community by ensuring the retention and successful graduation of students through the support of HPGM.
