Board Pipeline Initiative

In partnership with the Greater Milwaukee Foundation, HPGM launched the Board Pipeline Initiative in 2016, with the goal of preparing professionals for service on non-profit boards.

We know that great non-profit organizations throughout the city are looking for diverse, talented individuals to serve on their boards and committees. This program helps them to find great matches from our membership.

In 2018, we launched our new, expanded program!

"The HPGM Board Pipeline Initiative served as a great introduction to the structural, financial, and substantive components of organizational boards, helping me feel prepared to serve on one in my community. I now proudly serve on two Milwaukee non-profit boards as a result of my experience through this initiative."

Sofia Ascorbe, Attorney, Legal Action of Wisconsin, Inc.

"We were impressed with it all, from learning about the Pipeline Initiative and the training it affords young professionals, to actually meeting the remarkable graduates of the program. Best of all, through the networking event, we met two exciting and extraordinarily qualified individuals interested in serving on our Board of Directors."

Chris Cowles, Board President, The Washington County Humane Society
