HPGM provides two awards annually: HPGM Hispanic Professional of the Year and HPGM Young Hispanic Professional of the Year. The awards are honored during the Annual Meeting.
Purpose
These awards recognize Hispanic Professionals and their corporations for outstanding accomplishment in their profession. They are designed to honor individuals who have exhibited a high level of achievement and responsibility, who have demonstrated an attitude of excellence in both their career and community, and who should be examples to emulate for other Hispanic professionals.
Process
Any supervisor, direct or indirect manager may nominate an individual from their company. Multiple nominees from one company are permitted. Supervisors and managers making the nomination are only able to make one nomination per award cycle (calendar year).
The individual who is nominating must complete a nomination form and may include supporting letters (no more than two). Each year a deadline is established. 2008 nomination deadline was July 11. Documents received after the nomination deadline and incomplete nominations will not be considered.
The criteria for eligibility are different for each award. Please check the corresponding link to learn about each one.
