HPGM Individual Giving Campaign

Hispanic Professionals of Greater Milwaukee has embarked on its most ambitious venture to date. Today, we hope that you and the 550 plus other members, will be inspired to join in and champion the next stage of our growth.

The time has arrived for us to invest in our today in order to advance our tomorrow. To this end, we are launching the second year of our investment campaign. The campaign will present each member with an opportunity to learn about our next stage of growth and partner with us through their personal financial contribution.

HPGM is moving forward to ensure that you, our Hispanic professionals, will be represented, developed, and that our leadership is reflected in the greater community. HPGM has strengthened and built Latino professional leadership, and in turn, it will now see that leadership strengthen and build HPGM.

Together we will rise to meet the challenge of taking HPGM to the next level. We will embrace this responsibility, we will seize the opportunity before us, because, we are positioned to improve the outlook of Latino professionals and fulfill the vision set out by our founders. It is time to grow stronger!

NEED TO GROW
HPGM has achieved much success through the volunteer efforts of its membership base and two staff members. However, we need to grow and the time is now. Your partnership will help launch the creation of initiatives that will serve you, including:

• Career Advancement Initiative - cultivating the development of emerging Hispanic Professionals through expanded access to mentors and coaches, and building a formal pipeline to job opportunities
• Leadership Development Program - new leadership development offerings to include luncheons, seminars and certificates
• Expansion of our graduate school scholarships

Corporations, small businesses, nonprofits, and individual members have invested in your growth at HPGM. Now, you have the opportunity to expand that investment by partnering with HPGM in its next level of growth.

YOUR RESPONSE - INVEST
Usher in a new day for HPGM and begin a legacy by investing in this second year of the campaign. The goal is to secure 10% of our revenue for a grand total of $33,250 over the next two years. You are invited to invest with your personal contribution.

You can connect with us on Facebook, Linkedin, Twitter and you will receive communications via email and mail too.

i am, you are, we are, HPGM - GROWING STRONGER!

i am

I am a Hispanic professional. Hispanics are the largest minority group in the US accounting for approximately 50.5 million or 16.3% of the population. Hispanics are projected to account for almost one third of the population by the year 2050 (Pew Hispanic Center, 2011). Wisconsin Hispanic professionals are a forte of knowledge, skills, abilities, aspirations, and talent.

 you are

You are an investor in HPGM’s growth. HPGM carefully designed a campaign based on member input from a cross section of participants. Your responses gave clear direction on how to proceed. You said to: proceed with confidence; remember our cultural value of ‘persona-a-persona’ connections; encourage members to respond at their personal level of giving; share the financial picture, needs, and accountability of the organization; and embrace the charge to pay forward the benefits members have received from HPGM and those Hispanic professionals who went before us.

 we are

organization recognized for its array of member offerings, including an annual leadership conference, graduate school scholarships, a mentorship program, and networking events. HPGM has emerged as a force elevating the perception of Hispanic professionals. It is critical to Latinos, the community, and the nation that we continue to grow and remain strong.

 GROWING STRONGER

HPGM will grow stronger with your partnership. Its long term sustainability defined by strength and continued growth, will be secured by your investment. Your partnership will allow HPGM to thrive, meet present and expanding needs, and be well prepared to respond quickly to changes like the recent recession.
